We took a 12 hour car trip to Salvador for Lee's work and I was excited to get out of the house! We live about 3 hours from Recife on the map and we drove down the coast to Salvador.
The views were so beautiful!
Our hotel was amazing and the kids had sooo much fun. Maile kept discovering new things at the hotel and saying "It's sooo amazing here Mom!!" It was so cute. And Lukey was in heaven cause he found a ball. That's pretty much all he says right now..."Mamae....ball....Papai....ball...ball...ball"
Sister Lima came for a visit and we had a wonderful time catching up in the sun. She always cracks me up! :) "Misericordia menina!"
Our view from the room- the beach is just across the street. But who needs a beach when you've got pools like this?!!
Maile was so cute peeking out of the house windows singing from Enchanted, "I've been dreaming of a true love's kiss, and a prince I'm hoping comes wis dis." (with this). I love seeing her so happy. :)
It was so fun just to be with our little family! We really feel like our own little "unit" these days and it's a fun feeling. We're going to Natal for the next holiday which is only 3 hours away so makes for an easier car trip- but it's so fun to explore more of Brazil!
