Natal for the Dia das Criancas Holiday

What do you get when a Brazilian holiday falls on a Wednesday?

You get a super long weekend, that's what! They take Monday and Tuesday off as well. Sweeet!

So we drove 3 hours to beautiful "Natal" and stayed at an amazing hotel on the beach! We met up with Andre and Martha and kids and also Edvaldo and Vania and kids. We had a ton of fun. Take me back there pleeeease!!

 Maile, Leticia, and Dayse had so much fun playing in the water at this Lagoa. 

 We had a great time at this little water park. I climbed the stairs to the top adult water slide and felt a fear I've never felt. I am all the sudden so afraid of stuff like that! I laughed and screamed the whole way down. Glad I got my skydiving adventure over when I was younger because now as a mom I just don't have the same guts!

 The hotel had all these fun pools and they hooked together with little water slides. Little Maile was so brave! She has really embraced the water these days.
