How does one even try to describe the holiday of Sao Joao? All I know is that it celebrates a Saint and that Saint must be special because they celebrate this holiday allll month long! We had parties at the ward, at Maile's school, and in the middle of the city they have a festival going on every night until 5am in the morning! Campina Grande is famous for their Sao Joao. So yes we had a fun month full of lots of forro and music and every type of food that you could imagine made out of corn!
Maile and Frasinho started dancing at the church party together. Priceless!
It's winter here but as you can see we have found a few sunny days here and there on the beach in Joao Pessoa. It's fun to take Lukey these days cause he doesn't shove the sand into his mouth anymore! :)

That dancing video is the CUTEST THING I have ever seen!!!!! I'm dying! I want' to watch it a million times. And Lukey is so pudgy and adorable at the beach! I can't wait to squeeze him!
I about fell over dead about that video of Maile! Dying to the fat max. Sooo cute! Love all the pics. Looks so festive and fun. My mom's quote when she came to Chile "We don't know how to have fun in US!" So true! Parties are the best ever in the South :) The beach and the fun times with your friend looks dreamy as well.
