Porto de Galinhas-Celebrating 6 years of marriage!

It seems like just yesterday in some ways that I was becoming "Mrs. Ligleydson Barbosa" and I could've never been prepared for the adventures and alegrias ahead with my brasileiro. He planned a romantic trip to a beach about 3 hours away, Porto de Galinhas. It was so much fun!! The only things that went wrong was the car problems on the way there and then losing ALL of our pictures from the trip (sniffle sniffle) yesterday during a chip malfunction! :( So sad. But there were so many fun times in between it was truly a wonderful way to celebrate 6 years of marriage!

We stayed at a Resort that had this view at night and hammocks and cabanas in the sun by day. My kind of place! Without the kids it was just almost too good to be true that we could just sit back, relax and spend time together! :) I have to admit, however, that I missed the kids like crazy and we were so excited to get back and squeeze our beautiful little chillens!

So happy to have mom and dad home and get their souvenirs! 

Maile hasn't left me out of her sight since! 

 So since the pictures won't help us remember much I want to record our great times in our family journal: tapioca in the mornings, playing tap rummy, speed and intense rounds of black jack, pool, ping pong, laying by the pool listening to music, sleeping in, our cruise ship room, long walk on the beach in the morning, spraying aloe on at night, eating lots of crepe, shopping at our galinha shops, eating at the churrascarias, almost beating you at pool basketball horse, watching movies late at night, walking the boardwalk and listening to "Sozinho" at the barzinho, you sneaking in a soccer game, me sneaking in one last crepe, scuba diving for aliancas, getting a better room and room service, reading The Five Love Languages in the car, and oh so much more!!
