Wow, what a week! I went in on Tuesday morning and 6 hours later our little Lucas was born. I was so nervous anticipating childbirth and it really was such a wonderful experience! (you can tell I had an epidural. lol) The minute they put that little baby to my chest I stared at that little face and wept for joy. I can't describe what it feels like to be a mother for the second time. I love my little Maile and now my little boy so much. We feel like an official family. Lee has been so amazing and so helpful, caring and supportive through it all- what would I do without him?!! Well, anyways, I'm just so happy that our baby boy is here. Que felicidade!! Thank you for all the prayers and help from family and friends. We couldn't be more thankful and happier.
