What is his name? Ligleydson Barbosa, but in the U.S. he's known as "Lee"
How long have you been married? Coming up on 3 years in June!
How long did you date? 6 months after we met we were married! I guess you could say "love at first sight" or something like that. :)
Who said I love you first? I did, and Lee had never said it to anyone before so held out on me for awhile. One night when we were dating I had fallen asleep and he whispered it in my ear. I thought it was just a good part of the dream but it woke me up and made me sooo happy!
Who is taller? Lee
Who can sing better? Well, what can I say, we're not exactly overflowing with talent in that area. But since I am "assistant choir director" in the ward (ha!) I would say I am learning more about singing. However, Lee has a gift to memorize lyrics easily and he knows like every Brazilian song ever made. He belts them in his nasaly singing voice usually accompanied by some dancing! :) he he.
Who is smarter? Street smart=Lee for sure, Book smart=me, but I'm proud that Lee is just a year and a little bit from a degree! Not easy in a second language!
Who does the laundry? I do, but something interesting is Lee looooves to press his shirts and make them look great. Works for me!
Who pays the bills? I do, and Lee loves to spend money on fun things. My weakness is Target and his weakness is anything in electronics!
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does, I'm closer to the door for the when the baby cries.
Who mows the lawn? Actually, we both do our fair share of the yard work. I always mowed the lawn growing up but I have to admit it's nice to have a man around and relieve me of that one!
Who cooks dinner? Oh shoot, the dinner thing! So I have good intentions of making yummy things but let's face it, it's something I'll have to work on. Lee makes the best pasta dishes, grilled cheese sandwiches, and his favorite one lately...fajitas. Yum!
Who drives? Lee does but of course I let out my squeeks because I am a nervous passenger driver. I hate that I am but I can't help it!
Who is more stubborn? Before I married Lee his family kept saying for him to "be patient" and acted like he was so stubborn. Oops. Turns out I'm the stubborn one and I'm trying to work on that. Something I love is that Lee ALWAYS makes me feel better no matter what and brings me out of my prideful bursts.
Who kissed who first? Um ya...2 weeks home from the mission and I was akward for sure! He was so flirty and started kissing my face and of course I let out little giggles and then we kissed and I was hooked! Que beijo gostoso!
Who asked who out first? Actually, he hung around at Rodizio until he got my number (and had made a bet with his friends about it!)but then I ended up inviting him to Thanksgiving dinner with the fam. We for sure "clicked" that day!
Who proposed? Lee. Instead of getting engaged in Brazil (a trip we took for me to meet his family) we waited until we got home and he asked my Dad's permission. I couldn't wait to get that ring on my finger!
Who has more siblings? Lee. I have 4 and he has 5. Bonus info: All his siblings' names start with "Lee". See if you can pronounce these names: Liahona, Liheldson, Liheldna, Ligleydson and the twins are Lehielton and Lehivelton! :) whoa!
Who wears the pants? I think most people would think that I do but Lee has a very strong hold over me in a good way. I feel like we help each other with everything and I always think of us as a really good team cause our styles just work together.
What do you love most about your man? I love the depth that Lee has. I love his brazilian culture and our portuguese/english mix that just makes life so rich and interesting. I love that we both want the same things and can live simply. I love seeing him as a Dad! Te amo xuxu!
I tag Ann Marie, Alana, and Kim!

Aww! You two are so cute. I love the Brazil connection you, Lee, and Mikey all have. I was so excited to find out you have a blog up and running now..I know we talked about it at Christmas. Maile is so dang cute, and those pictures are beautiful. Love ya!
I will get to it, I promise! Also, when do you need papa's letters???
Fun to read! I will get to it, but it won't be for a while since I'm going out of town! What did you think about Christian winning? I think he deserved it!
Hey,
I ran onto your blog through Alana's. Anyways, I just wanted to say you have a beautiful little girl. I think we had our girls the same time. I love being a mom too- I have to agree though I never knew feeding time would be so messy.
